If you are a continuing client with Don, you are most likely familiar with the process of downloading our Excel workbook, saving it to your hard drive, and uploading to your SmartVault account or emailing it to our office before your appointment. You know what to do!
It’s only slightly different this year to download the appropriate file for your tax appointment. Please click on the link below to take you to Public Folder in our SmartVault System. You will need your email and SmartVault Password!. Then by clicking on appropriate year and appropriate tax situation file (Single/Married/Business), click the blue download button to save on to your harddrive.
If you would rather us email our workbook to you, please make that request to Contact@drtaxguy.com
Further download Instructions - Just remember which folder you saved your download in so you can call it up once you open your Excel or Excel-compatible Spreadsheet Program (OpenOffice, GoogleSheets...) from your computer. If you get a message that the file has links to be updated, you should not update. We suggest that you save your copy of our file with your name immediately in front of the file name... ie for me it would be:
“2020_Tax Worksheet_MFJ_V1_Web.xlsm” becomes
“Don Robinson Hollingsworth 2020 Tax Worksheet”
When your Worksheet is completed, please UPLOAD to your SmartVault account or EMAIL the Excel file to us by attaching the SAVED file to your email. Please send your email to: Contact@DrTaxGuy.com
If you DO NOT get an email confirming our receipt of your Tax Spreadsheet, please call our office to confirm receipt!
NOTE: By placing an X to the left of the occupation that corresponds to the occupation for which you have the most expenses you populate your Worksheet expense page. So if you are a Waiter/Actor, you would choose Actor and NOT put an X to the left of both occupations.
Please email Contact@DrTaxGuy.com for Pre-2015 year Workbooks
